Education Scholarship

This scholarship is available for students attending Western who will be enrolled full-time during their sophomore year and majoring in Education in the Fall of 2024. Nine (9) $500 scholarships will be awarded for the 2024-2025 academic year. The students will receive $250 in the fall and $250 in the spring. Please read the criteria below, and then apply if you meet the necessary requirements. Application deadline is May 3, 2024.

Criteria:
- Enrolling as a full-time student for the Fall 2024 / Spring 2025 semesters
- Have already completed 8 hours in the Education Program
- 2.5 cumulative GPA at Western

Free Application for Federal Aid (FAFSA) must be completed to provide calculation of cost of attendance (COA) and student must be registered for Fall 2024 semester (registration opens April 10, 2024) to be considered for this scholarship.

Maintenance to keep this scholarship is a 2.5 cum GPA at the end of each term (semester).
