Criminal Justice Scholarship - Sophomore Students
FALL 2025 – SPRING 2026
Departmental scholarship awarded to criminal justice students for their second/sophomore year at Western. The application period is open from December 1st to July 1st for scholarships that will be awarded for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Apply before April 1st to be considered as a priority applicant. The total amount of the scholarship will be awarded with an even split between the fall and spring semesters unless otherwise approved by the department (eligibility requirements below will be reviewed at the end of Fall 2025 to determine Spring 2026 eligibility).
Minimum requirements:
- Majoring in a degree program from the Criminal Justice Department
- Have sophomore standing for the 2025-2026 Academic Year
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
Free Application for Federal Aid (FAFSA) must be completed to provide calculation of cost of attendance (COA) and student must be registered for Fall 2025 semester (registration opens April 9, 2025) to be considered for this scholarship.
Maintenance to keep this scholarship is a 2.0 cumulative GPA at the end of each term (semester).
