Transfer Scholarship

FALL 2025 – SPRING 2026

This scholarship is available to any qualifying student transferring to Western Wyoming Community College after attending another post-secondary educational institution that is enrolled full time (twelve or more credits) at Western. This is a two year / (4) semester (fall and spring only) scholarship that is automatically renewable as long as student meets eligibility requirements..

The transfer must occur within 5 years of last college attendance. Applicants must have a minimum 3.5 college cumulative GPA and completed a minimum of 12 college credit hours. Students must complete 12 credits each semester with a 3.00 GPA. Students who receive a Hathaway or Out of State Academic Scholarship are not eligible for this scholarship.

The application period is open from December 1 to July 1 for scholarships that will be awarded for the 2025-2026 academic year. Apply before April 1 to be considered as a priority applicant.

Free Application for Federal Aid (FAFSA) must be completed to provide calculation of cost of attendance (COA) and student must be registered for Fall 2025 semester (registration opens April 9, 2025) to be considered for this scholarship.

This award is subject to available funding an the approval of the Western Foundation Board; they reserve the right to change said rates at any time.
