Student Nursing Association Scholarship

SPRING 2026

Scholarship sponsored by the Student Nurse Association that is offered for the Spring semester only (Spring 2026).

The application period is open from December 1st to July 1st for scholarships that will be awarded for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Apply before April 1st to be considered as a priority applicant. This scholarship will be awarded as one $500.00 scholarship OR if applicable two $250.00 scholarships will be awarded (this depends on applications received).

Free Application for Federal Aid (FAFSA) must be completed to provide calculation of cost of attendance (COA) and student must be registered for Fall 2025 semester (registration opens April 9, 2025) to be considered for this scholarship.

Maintenance to keep this scholarship is a 2.0 cum GPA at the end of each term (semester)

Requirements:

• The student needs to be going into their second year of the Nursing program
• Submit 2-4 paragraphs on:
  – Why did you decide to join/participate in the Student Nurse Association?
  – How have you contributed to the Student Nurse Association during your first year of the Nursing program?
  – What are your Student Nurse Association plans for the upcoming school year (volunteering, contributing, and/or other)?
  – How has the Student Nurse Association impacted you as a future nurse?
