Social Science Scholarship

FALL 2025 – SPRING 2026

This opportunity is a Social Science Division scholarship for new and returning students. The application period is open from December 1st to July 1st for scholarships that will be awarded for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Apply before April 1st to be considered as a priority applicant. The total amount of the scholarship will be awarded for the whole year in Fall 2025 with an even split between the fall and spring semesters unless otherwise approved by the department (eligibility requirements below will be reviewed at the end of Fall 2025 to determine Spring 2026 eligibility)..

Minimum requirements:

  • Majoring in one of the following degree programs: History, Political Science, Social Work, or Sociology
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.0 (for continuation for the spring semester)

Free Application for Federal Aid (FAFSA) must be completed to provide calculation of cost of attendance (COA) and student must be registered for Fall 2025 semester (registration opens April 2025) to be considered for this scholarship.

Maintenance to keep this scholarship is a 2.0 cumulative GPA at the end of each term (semester).
