Laurie Lynn Watkins Scholarship Endowment

This endowment is funded by the Laurie Lynn Watkins Endowment through the Western Wyoming College Foundation and offers scholarships to International Students. The application period is open from December 1st to July 1st for scholarships that will be awarded for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Apply before April 1st to be considered as a priority applicant.

To qualify for this scholarship, be sure that you are meeting the requirements listed below. For continued eligibility, you must maintain the requirements listed below after the scholarship had been awarded.

Scholarship Requirements:

• GPA 3.0 or greater
• Current term mid-term grades “C’s” or better; with a term GPA of 3.00 or greater
• Active F-1 Student Visa
• Completed Western’s International Student application
• Your official Western transcript will be attached to the application

Essay:

• Submit a personal essay about their background, educational, and career goals.

After mid-term grades are posted in the spring, the family will review the applications and choose the recipients for this scholarship.
